21 years is the official age where worldwide a person is considered an adult. By 22, you’re now well embedded into the adulting life and can no longer be considered a kid no matter how young you look. There are a number of Nigerian celebrities who have been so popular for what feels like a long time now, but will only just this year be clocking 22.

Nigerian singer Rema is a talented young man and one of the most popular names in music out of Nigeria and Africa today. Rema is responsible for such hit songs as Dumebi, Woman, Bounce, Calm Down, and more. The singer was born on the 1st of May, 2000 making him 22 years old this year.

2. Regina Daniels

Regina Daniels is a famous Nigerian actress, influencer, and wife to wealthy businessman Ned Nwoko. The two had a well-documented relationship and marriage that was the talk of many and put Regina’s name squarely on the map. Despite now being a household name and a mother of one, Regina is still very young. She is just 21 and will be turning 22 this year as she was born on the 10th of October, 2000.

3. Maliya Michael

Maliya Michael is a popular Nigerian model, influencer, and Youtuber who has amassed over 395,000 followers on Instagram alone. She is also popular on Tiktok and Snapchat where she likes to document her travels and luxurious lifestyle. Maliyah was born on the 30th of September, 2000 which means that this year, she will be clocking 22.

4. Temilade Kosoko

Temilade Kosoko popularly known by many as Temi Kosoko is a Nigerian actress, model, and daughter of Nollywood icon Jide Kosoko. During her career, Temilade has been able to star in a number of big productions including “By Force Boyfriend”, “The Kings Show”, and “Being Broke in a Relationship”. Temilade was born on the 17th of April 2000 which means that she’ll be turning 22 this year.

5. Caramel Plugg

Ukonu Ogechi known popularly to the world as Caramel Plugg is a Nigerian content creator, skit maker, ranter, Youtuber, and lifestyle and fashion influencer. She is popular majorly for her skits and funny memes featuring her that have gone viral. On Instagram alone, she boasts over 1 million followers. Caramel Plugg has already achieved so much and it is wild that she is still so young. Caramel Plugg was born on the 28th of May, 2000 which means that this year she’ll be clocking 22.

6. Bhadie Kelly

Kelly, Slay Kelly, Bhadie Kelly, Pyt Kelli, or any name you may know her as is a Nigerian Tiktoker who went viral after posting a video of herself dancing to a viral sound on TikTok while dressing in a light brown and multicolored gown. After that video and subsequent videos of her were uploaded, a number of people begun publicly admiring and making known their love for the Tiktoker. Kelly was reportedly on the 1st of December, 2000 which means that she’ll be turning 22 at the end of this year.

7. Angel Smith

Former Big Brother Naija housemate turned influencer Angel Smith rose to fame after competing on the 6th edition of the Big Brother Naija show. Since leaving the house, she has gone on to become an influencer and brand ambassador with hundreds of thousands of adoring fans who love her till today. Angel was born on the 13th of February, 2000 which means that earlier this year, she clocked 22.
